I was trying to find a Mother's Day card that wasn't overly mushy and feel-good, and all I could find were cards covered in glitter with sickly sweet messages that my mom would have just rolled her eyes at. So thanks to a lucky capture of my son's moment of banana ecstasy, I managed to create a card that was much more the general feeling I wanted to convey.
